Big Changes for Yoga Birth

Greetings to friends old and new. If you are visiting this site, you have likely come here in search of support for pregnancy or childbirth. I am both sad and happy to announce that I am retiring from pregnancy and birth work as of today, November 1, 2019. I am sad, because it marks the end of an era of 14 years of service to expectant families. I am beyond grateful for every mom and baby and family who has entrusted me over the years with the most sacred task of nurturing pregnancy, preparing for birth, and promoting healing during the postpartum period.

I am happy because I am now free to birth a new creative vision, as I shift my energy and efforts into a new project and a new way of being of service. I will now be offering Private Therapeutic Yoga and Somatic Healing, as well as Transformative Life Coaching Services – working one-on-one and in groups with those who seek to heal and integrate body-mind-spirit and grow into their potential with the support of a personal life coach.

These new ways of working are being born directly out of everything I have learned and experienced over 20 years of practicing and studying yoga, as well as over 13 years of working directly at the threshold of life itself in the space of pregnancy and birth. I am eager to bring this new vision into being and hope you will come along for the journey. While a new web site and online presence is in the works, you can find me to start at Awakening with Heather Brown on Facebook. I am actively looking for new opportunities to support others in this way, and I hope you will stay connected with me on this journey by liking my page or reaching out if I may serve you personally.

If you still need prenatal yoga, childbirth education or doula support, please contact the amazing team at The Womb Room – the studio I founded and now pass on to other capable, loving individuals who will carry the torch of support families through pregnancy and birth.

With deep gratitude – Heather Brown
